We all come from different backgrounds and have different needs when it comes to living with or helping a loved one who lives with this health condition. But we are all looking for something or else we wouldn't be here.
How did you find your way here to our community?

CraftBaby53 December 28 at 11:271 LikeI belong to several other sites and checking what new ones had been added and seen this at the bottom of the list. I just want to encourage others and at the same time I know it will help me as well. I live with several medical conditions and I will not let them control me. I'm in the drivers seat not someone else, so that's one thing I have helped me through all the garbage one faces living with medical conditions. What was my biggest problem WAS Fibromyalgia but I finally have that under control thanks to a doctor telling me to research the condition on line. He said I could learn, more on line than if I sat in his office one day a week for the complete year. I am happy to say he was right. All of my doctors are shocked at the improvements I've made over the last 6 months. Not one thought it would ever be able to improve the way I have. I do have to admit that it meant buying this laptop, spending hours on the web, changing diet and exercise habits. I'm happy to say I'm on the lowest amount of medication than I've been on since 1986, and NO pain meds for the first time since 1996. Now that is saying a lot.
